Become a representative of the Trove Drivers' Association (TDA)

The TDA is the union of Trove drivers.

A union is an organization of workers that have banded together to achieve common goals such as better racing conditions.

The union, consisting out of three members, bargains with Trove on behalf of Trove. This may include the negotiation of racing conditions, work rules, complaint procedures, promotion of members, benefits, safety and policies. The agreements negotiated by the union with Trove are binding.

TDA may promote legislation favourable to the interests of their members or workers as a whole. To this end they may pursue campaigns or undertake lobbying.

What is expected?
- To qualify, you must be at least 16 years old and must have been active in helping and contributing to the forum and Codemasters’ F1 2011 before applying as a representative of the TDA.
- The TDA must consist of three experienced Trove members of different nationalities.
- TDA representative have less freedom in posting, as they must be extra kind and respectful to people in order to set good examples. Being a part of the Drivers Association is not about having an expert knowledge, it is about encouraging members to follow (and in some cases enforcing) the rules, whilst maintaining a pleasant, supportive atmosphere and ensuring the best racing conditions for the Trove members.

Be forewarned! If you cannot take criticism well, then you should not apply!

Members can nominate themselves in this topic until the 31st January 2012. Afterwards, a poll will decide who becomes a TDA representative.
